Frequently asked questions

How do I start a recording?

Open the Lore iOS app and tap the record button on the Record tab. Lore will ask for microphone access the first time. You can lock your phone and keep walking. Recording continues in the background until you stop it.

How do I connect Google Calendar?

Go to Settings → Calendar → Connect Google Calendar. You will be redirected to Google to grant read-only access to your calendar. Lore uses this to surface upcoming meetings and match recordings to them. You can disconnect at any time from the same screen.

Can I use Lore offline?

Yes. Recordings are saved to your device while you are offline. When you come back into network range, Lore uploads the audio, runs transcription, and generates your notes and action items automatically.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your recordings, transcripts, and user-created content belong to you. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train third-party foundation models. Full details in our privacy policy.

How do I delete my account?

From inside the Lore app, go to Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. This permanently removes your recordings, transcripts, notes, tasks, and profile. The action is irreversible and cannot be undone, so export anything you want to keep first.

What devices does Lore support?

Lore is available as a native iOS app for iPhone running iOS 17 or later, and as a web app at app.uselore.ai for desktop and laptop use. Android and iPad are not supported today.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?

Email support@uselore.ai for bugs and feedback@uselore.ai for ideas. Please include your device model, iOS version, and the steps to reproduce the issue. It helps us fix things faster.

Can I export my recordings?

Yes. Tap any recording, use the share button, and pick your destination from the iOS share sheet: Files, email, AirDrop, or any installed app. For bulk exports, email support@uselore.ai.

Tips for faster help

  • Tell us your device model and iOS version.
  • Tell us the app version (Settings → About).
  • Describe what you expected to happen and what actually happened.
  • If the issue is with a specific recording, include a timestamp.
  • Screenshots and short screen recordings are genuinely helpful.
